Well, I finished my nights on Friday morning.....it was really busy for the first 3 nights but it was kinda quiet on the last night so I managed to get some sleep. Drove up to Sheffield roughly around 12 noon. The journey was not too bad but the traffic was bad in Birmingham and Nottingham....so it took me an extra 45 minutes to get to Sheffield. Slept over at Kathy, Win, Syida and Anis' place. Went out for dinner at an Italian restaurant called BB's on West Street since it was Syida's birthday. The food was nice. By the time we got home, I was really exhausted plus full and I went to bed straight....tak tolong pun masak for the open house. The open house next day was a nice, small one....Kathy, Anis, Syida and Win prepared nasi ayam and satay....I think they slept at about 5 am preparing the food. It was good....we had a birthday celebration for Syida after the open house. Slept over at Farah, Yah and Normi's place. I spend the night preparing my power point presentation for my clinical case.....which was yesterday. Mama Farah masak rendang ayam, lontong and puding laici.....and guess what....there was also lemang from Malaysia. I think we slept about 3 am that night....bukannya masak....sibuk dengar lagu Melayu. In the morning, had cucur kodok for breakfast....yummy and after that went to pick up Yah at the train station....best nyer dia balik M'sia for Raya! Spend the afternoon eating and taking loads of photos. Watched a bit of the new Indonesian movie called My Heart....Yah brought back and I left Sheffield roughly around 8 pm. Sad  Guys....thanks for the lovely time. Nanti kalau free....mai lah sini.

Well...what can I say? It's malam Raya and I am at home alone. Menyesal jugak tak blk M'sia. I went to Cardiff yesterday....kononnya nak shopping....just to make it feel more like Raya but ended up buying duvet cover only at Laura Ashley. Nothing is like celebrating Raya in M'sia. I will definitely go back for next Raya. I spend the last day of puasa doing my laundry and grocery shopping in the morning. It was raining all day long today. Did a bit of cleaning up around the house....kata Raya. I am not working tomorrow morning....instead I will be starting my nights esok....sad but it's okay I guess. Sedih jugak bila dengar takbir Raya....and it feels like M'sia a little bit coz outside there was firework ( I don't know what ever for ). Here instead of having kuih tart, I have Millie's cookies for Raya. Instead of makan ketupat and rendang pagi Raya, I will be having cereal with milk. How sad is that? Hopefully this weekend would be better. I am driving up to Sheffield to meet up with my friends....so at least rasa lah macam balik kampung even though lambat. They are planning to buat open house....it will definitely be good. I will get to wear my baju Raya....hehehehe. Wishing all of you Selamat Hari Raya and enjoy yourself.

It's 4 am now but I can't sleep. I was really exhausted yesterday....too many things to do at work and there were only 2 of us on the team. MAD FRIDAY it was!!!! I've finally decided to give this fotopages a try....  I don't know where to start from.Ooh ya....SELAMAT BERPUASA everyone!

A short trip to Bangor

Drove up to Bangor with my brother today....mainly coz nak ambik the remaining of my stuff. Tu lah....banyak sangat barang! The next time I am moving....definitely gonna get movers....penat lah! Stress! Visited my friend Khaleed and his wife Aliya....so these photos were taken at their house. Luvly isn't it.....Went strolling along the beach....picked some raspberry.....and drove back on the same day. The journey took us about 5 hours drive okay....one way....

Drove to Edinburgh from Bangor....I think it took us about 5 hours.....plus it was raining heavily on the way....luckily the sun was shining the next day when we went around

My mum, sis and bro came over.....actually nk antar Azlan.....we went around Cardiff then drove up to North Wales.....took the steam railway up Snowdonia.....I think it's not worth it.....mainly maybe because the journey was quite long.....boring and all you could see was the mountains.....pastu when you finally reach the top.....the train stop for only 30 minutes or else you have to wait for the next train....tu pun if there's empty seat.....it's freezing up there.....and you can't hardly see anything....so all we did was have a cup of coffee.....and all that we had to pay GBP21.....too expensive. I won't recommend it no anyone.Perhaps it would be nicer if we were to walk up.....Stop over at Porthmadog on the way to Bangor.The next stop was Edinburgh.....

It was the Easter holiday and most of us decided to gather kat Sheffield.....where else to go lah? As usual....Yah and Farah's place lah jadi mangsa.....thanks guys! What did we do? I think we to Haddon Hall and after to I can't remember what's it call....but the tourist attraction was the Heights of Abraham.....took the cable car up which was luvly....gayat but it's alright.

Pak Kai, Mun Seong and I went to Sheffield for the weekend.....i think it was a long holiday....may be....short term memory loss. Apart from us....Anis, Syida, Win, Normi, Kathy and Na were also there. Our usual port kalau kat Sheffield would be Farah and Yah's place....Nothern General Hospital. Luckily housemate dia org nie sporting and jenis tak kisah.....What did we do? Went to the city centre, York for a bit and after that drove to Buxton.....and later to Manchester....met up with Azwanis and Nizam....for dinner at Rizki....a Malay mixed Indonesian restaurant.....

Barcelona

We took a train from Madrid to Barcelona.....since it was a long journey....we've decided to take the ones with bed.....but I realized what it's like if you are claustrophobic.....the condition was even worse compared to KTM.....we stayed at a youth hostel in Barcelona.....think it was somewhere near Las Ramblas.....a piece of advice......DO NOT and I mean DO NOT stay there.....the room condition was really terrible......asrama kat Malaysia lagi cantik.....was a bit disappointed coz some of the tourist attraction were under construction like the Sangrada Familia and also the cathedral.
